El Teide national park is the most visited national park in the whole of Spain. The purpose of establishing Teide National Park is to protect its extraordinary geological formations and remarkably rich flora and fauna.
Hiking in the El Teide National Park
There is an extensive hiking network in the Teide National Park where you can take hikes for every level through lava fields and rock formations.
You almost feel like you are on an alien planet. Always go prepared, because at altitudes above 1,500 metres it can be very cold in the winter months.
